Abstract

The main objective of this article is to show some results of a genealogical research on modern sexuality on the southern part of the Latin American continent. It has focused on some of the treaties on which the Spanish, especially Francisco de Vitoria´s Dominican Catholic doctrine, have formulated the condition of person to think about the "new subjects" of the newly conquered continent, especially with regard to their exogamous behavior and its fratrilinear organization. Person, historically becoming the sine qua non mark of the human, supposes a binarism that is an expression of the sex-gender system and that belongs to the inclusion-exclusion scheme that makes on its own the game of the binomial that produces and makes the heteronormed system work.
